Saigon Vietnamese Restaurant

I came here with some friends over spring break. We were a little scared at first because no one else was in the restaurant, and it looked like a hole-in-the wall kind of place. We ordered some fresh spring rolls and pho. The pho came out in huge bowls, and it tasted absolutely delicious. I literally cleaned my bowl, which was a hard feat considering the huge serving sizes. The owner was very nice, and the service was as great as the food. I definitely recommend this restaurant!

Family owned and operated, homestyle food. Staff are so friendly and helpful. I always get the chicken and egg roll with vermicelli which comes with a side of lettuce and fish sauce. I could eat this 7 days a week.

Quick, fast service. Good food.

The food was excellent. I would have given 5 stars but the customer service was non existent. Our orders were made and the food was delivered. After that no one came back to our table.

Very good and authentic-tasting restaurant. As someone who is normally not a fan of Vietnamese, I enjoy eating here.You can't go wrong with a hot pot for lunch when it's cold outside. You get soup (more of a broth, but still nice to have), some vegetable sides that feel like mainly decoration, and a delicious hotpot that they nail every time.

I truly love this restaurant. The staff is very friendly and the food is always great to me.

Ive not been to saigon Vietnamese but i hear it is very good. Prices are good. Customer service is acceptable.

I kid you not! They have the best Vietnamese espresso! The hot pots are cool and fun (spelling? Soup) is so much fun to eat with the chop sticks! Makes me feel like I am eating authentic Vietnamese cuisine.

I love Vietnamese and Asian cuisine. Thankfully I found this restaurant several years ago. Their pho is amazing and I haven’t found anything on the menu yet that I don’t like. Friendly staff; I highly recommend this restaurant. I wish they had one in Ridgeland/Madison.

The food was terrific and made with fresh ingredients. Service was fast and friendly. The reason I gave only 4 stars was that there was an offputting smell when we came in.My husband and I shared the spring roll order(1 each). Very good with the peanutie flavor dipping sauce(I added hot sauce to mine and red Chile sauce). I had Pho Tom(shrimp 🍤 soup) and had soooooo much left over to bring home. I kicked it up a notch with some red pepper sauce. Soo good and spicy. My husband had the marinated charred chicken with rice and egg roll. He said it was a good dish.

The food is pretty good, my favorite is their spicy pho... cant recall the name of it, service is always mediocre... but good food remedies quite a lot!

We recently discovered their combination rice plates which includes bbq chicken, pork, shrimp and a fried egg. I miss the rice dishes in Cali and this was great! They also have bo tai chanh, beef carpaccio which I tried the other week and have been back twice for. The marinade is slightly strong so you might have to take some out. It comes out with rare thin sliced beef, you have to put it in the marinade for about 10 minutes so it can cure the meat then enjoy!

If you’re looking for pho in the Jackson, Mississippi, area, this place has some good Vietnamese soup and other dishes. Casual atmosphere.

Great pho but the interior could use some renovating.

Pho being my amongst my favorite dishes, I'm always on the lookout for a fix. Was driving through town and happened to see this place just in time for dinner. Very authentic, very good food and terrific value (under $20 for 2 people with 2 entrees and an appetizer). The place was also clean, but the lights in the men's room did not work and there was no paper or soap (even though it was clean). I'd go back and I recommend this place to anyone who wants vietnamese food.

It was my first time trying Vietnamese food. Focusing more on a vegetarian diet, my options were limited as there were only three vegetarian options on the menu. Arrived around lunch time. Very casual setting. Staff is friendly and nice. I ordered the the tofu noodle bowl for myself and I had a friend order some other non vegetarian items which they claimed was very delicious so might definately be a winner for meat eaters. The portion sizes were good and the food was decent. I enjoyed the kindness of the staff members and would not have a problem returning to try other vegetarian options off the menu.

The food was fantastic. Awesome local family run business! My family cant wait to go back!

If you are in the mood for pho this is the go to spot in the Jackson area. Always such nice people and service. For the price and quality, it's one of my personal favorites.

I ordered the bun dac biet and it was very yummy!!! The chicken and shrimp were grilled and it was so soft. Will come back next time we are in town.

A great Vietnamese restaurant with amazing pho, hot pots, and noodle and rice dishes. Makes me happy to live in Jackson with such international fare.

Are you up for some? We just discovered this place. My lovely bride is Filipino and just recently arrived in the United States. She has eaten this type of food in several Asian countries and she gives this place a thumb's up! That's good enough for this Mississippi Boy.... :-)

This place was AMAZING. We are from Arkansas and found them en route to Alabama for vacation. It's family owned and the man in charge was extraordinarily helpful and friendly. We had never eaten Vietnamese cuisine before and he recommended the hot pot. It was terrific. Prices were very reasonable for the type of restaurant that it is. Great food, great service, and great atmosphere. We hope to visit on many more road trips to come.

Awesome fresh and authentic pho noodle bowl. Soups,saute and grilled simple meats. Beef stew! Hot pots cooked in crocks. All fresh cut herbs. Broth is legendary. Real Spring rolls in rice wraps!
